has this week once again to speak. Really wanted I so the blame for my blog absence, but unfortunately he broke too late. After all, he has but my return to London after the Easter holidays delayed by five days. As I held this year for the second time happens, I'll probably book for the rest of the year either with enough buffer flights, or at least take the same train.
over the coverage during the six-day flight break me but I'm a bit annoyed. I can understand people who resent themselves because their long-haul flights were canceled and they had two or three weeks waiting for the next available flight, (a friend of mine came back today from Manila, Two weeks late) or people who are stuck at a stop and could not get a visa for the country stop. But the British are stuck in Spain? Or German in Mallorca? Since my sympathy has been very limited. With a little imagination can be organized either extended stay or an alternative home.
Admittedly, I was caught it very mildly, I was just a bit longer with my parents in the room with heating, in the house with a garden and three cats. What's more, I do not like to fly anyway, and so very happy was that was stopped at the slightest possibility of danger to air traffic. I was left with the complaints schleierhaft, dass man doch wissen müsste welche Auswirkungen diese Asche auf Flugzeuge hat, dass es unmöglich sei dass ein Forschungsflugzeug erst nach fünf Tagen einsatzbereit war, und dass die Fluggesellschaften keine Schwierigkeiten feststellen konnten bei ihren Tests.
Warum sollte man in Europa darauf vorbereitet sein, dass ein isländischer Vulkan seine Asche über dem ganzen Kontinent verstreut? Wann bitte ist das denn zum letzten Mal passiert? Da mussten schon der eher unwahrscheinliche Ausbruch mit genau den richtigen Windverhältnissen zusammentreffen, und die Wahrscheinlichkeit dafür war denke ich so gering, dass mir nicht klar ist wieso man da schon darauf vorbereitet gewesen sein sollte. Aus dem gleichen Grund ist es auch verständlich, dass ein Forschungsflugzeug nicht sofort da ist. Ich finde, das Ding wurde eher zügig zusammengebaut. Das Argument mit den Fluggesellschaften krankt daran, dass diese ein starkes Interesse daran hatten, dass sie keine Probleme finden, um des Geschäfts willen. Damit will ich nicht sagen, dass sie absichtlich Informationen unterschlagen haben, aber eine unabhängige Prüfung ihrer Ergebnisse ist mir da doch lieber, und das braucht nun einmal ein bisschen Zeit.
Hätte man sich etwas schneller darauf einigen können, dass man bei niedrigen Konzentrationen fliegen kann? Möglicherweise ja, aber dazu mussten eben erst die Testflüge ausgewertet werden. Jetzt kann man aus den Probleme lernen und versuchen einen Notfallplan ready to have. Ideally, then even a little bit flexible and can be transferred to other situations. It seemed to me quite plausible as the idea that one long-haul flights then redirects to accessible European airports and passengers by land there and moved back home. This one would have only the French railway workers strike to discourage ...
